Intro to Pipemaking

All day introduction to functional glass!

This class is a perfect start for those interested in making pipes! We will start off with basic studio safety introductions, learning the torch and melting hot glass! In this introduction class students will learn the basics of glass pipe design. . Class is split up into demos and practice time: before each project your teacher will demonstrate it from start to finish, pointing out key tips and techniques. You will make some or all of the following; a dabber, a chillum/one hitter and more! (teachers often improvise and personalize demo’s, projects vary). Class is fun and laid back, a great introduction to glass pipemaking. All materials provided.
