Intro to Glass

3 hour introduction to flameworking.

This class is a perfect introduction to glass with zero experience required. Starting off basic studio safety introductions, learning the torch and basic hot glass manipulation! Class is split up into short demos followed by practice time. Before each project your teacher will demonstrate it from start to finish, pointing out key tips and techniques. Then students will make their own with guided instruction. You will make some or all of the following; reusable glass straw, an icicle or swizzle stick, a heart pendant, mushroom pendant and more (teachers often improvise and personalize demo’s, projects vary). All material provided. This class is fun, easy and laid back.
